Arangetram of Kumari Shreya and Kumari Shilpa on 7^th November’2010.

    Kumari Shreya and Kumari Shilpa performed their Bharatanatyam Arangetram on 7^th November’2010 at Triveni Kala Sangam, Tansen Marg, New Delhi. After completing her school education from N.K.Bagrodia Public School, Dwarka, Kumari Shreya is pursuing her B.Tech in EC from Lingaya’s University and Kumari. Shilpa is a class IXth student of  N.K.Bagrodia Public School, Dwarka, New Delhi.

    Their Guru is well known choreographer and senior artist Shri.Jayashankar Menon , Founder Director, Nritya ( Institution of Classical Dances), Vikaspuri, New Delhi. The programme was well attended and both Shreya and Shilpa excelled in their performance receiving applauds and appreciation from the audience. Especially the Jatiswaram, Varnam, Navarasas and the Tillana received huge applauds from the audience. The chief guest, Dr.Rajee N Kumar, Principal of N.K.Bagrodia Public School, Dwarka mentioned that the coordination and the graceful movements by the artists were so perfect that it did not seemed to be an arangetram but a performance by professional artists and praised Guru Jayashankar Menon for the excellent training imparted by him.  The young artists were presented with a certificate and Vilakku by Nritya, Vikaspuri, the Institution of Classical Dances founded by Guru Jayashankar Menon.
